United Way is once again inviting human service organizations in Lethbridge and South Western Alberta to apply for funding to support programs for people and families in the 2017-2018 year.
Proposed programs will align with United Ways vision of alleviating poverty; building healthy, inclusive communities, or promoting positive child and youth development.
Over the past three years, United Way has provided grants to 29 different organizations in the area. Collectively, the programs funded by United Way and its community donors help over 20,000 people each year.
Each year, a team of community volunteers assists with the evaluation and review process to ensure that donors’ dollars are invested where they will have the greatest impact and address the most urgent needs.
The deadline to apply is March 31, 2017. Download the application package.
