FUNDING
Funding is available for organizations in Lethbridge & South Western Alberta providing support and services in response to COVID-19. Two streams of funding are available – one for general COVID-19 relief and recovery programs, and one for COVID-19 relief and recovery programs specifically supporting seniors (55+). The COVID-19 Seniors Response Project is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.

**Recently, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced $9 million through United Way for local organizations that support practical services to Canadian seniors. More information about this funding will be made available in due time.
