The United Way of Lethbridge & South Western Alberta is seeking support to develop a three year strategic plan that will identify goals and strategies to advance the organization's mission.
The United Way of Lethbridge & South Western Alberta is a registered charity located in Lethbridge, Alberta. Its role is to help the community gather resources it needs to thrive, ensure poverty is temporary, help individuals and families live healthy lifestyles, and support children and youth with access to the tools they need to reach their full potential. The United Way team is comprised of 4 full time staff members and 9 board directors. Organization members include donors and United Way-funded agencies within the community.
Scope of Work:
The United Way of Lethbridge & South Western Alberta is seeking a consultant to lead its board and staff members through the process of developing a three-year strategic plan for 2022-2024. This strategic plan should include a monitoring and evaluation process to ensure its success.
The 2022-2024 strategic plan needs to be developed by October 1, 2021. With provincial restrictions in place due to COVID, this work will likely be carried out virtually. This can be done in multiple online sessions, as the consultant sees fit.
The Board of Directors will review all proposals. Price, experience, quality of service, and availability will be considered. The final decision will be made by the Board, and will be announced before the end of May 2021.
Interested consultants should submit a proposal to the United Way of Lethbridge & South Western Alberta. Proposal do not need to be lengthy, but should include a description of the process (ex: meeting requirements and timeline), budget, and two references.
