Give a little… Do a LOT!
It’s Simple.
You lead a busy lifestyle. Making United Way your charity of choice saves you time and stretches your donation further in the community. Your donation, when pooled with many others in our Community Fund, supports a variety of local organizations providing essential programs for people and families. United Way-funded programs help thousands of people each year.
It’s Local.
Donations to United Way’s Community Fund stay local and support programs in South Western Alberta. If you live and work here, your money stays here. Simple as that.
It Feels Good.
Like you, your United Way team lives and works locally, and wants to build thriving communities. The people helped by United Way-funded programs are our friends, family or neighbours – people we know.
Ways to Give...
United Way accepts gifts, and raises money primarily for the Community Fund, which is distributed to local charities annually. In addition, United Way's Donor's Choice program allows you the option to direct your gift to any registered Canadian Charity you wish. If there is one that is close to your heart, we are pleased to forward your donation (some conditions apply). Just let us know.
Whether you choose to give to the Community Fund, or to another charity of your choice, all of our giving options are available to you:
