Beyond Graduation: Cultivating an Inclusive Life

In this program, Inclusion Lethbridge offers capacity-building services for youth with disabilities and their families as they transition from youth to adulthood.

Inclusion Lethbridge believes in a diverse, welcoming and healthy community. It advocates for and supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families so that they can live as valued citizens, free of discrimination and enjoy the rights, responsibilities and benefits of citizenship. Available resources include Strategic Future Planning for a Good Life; PLAN Network Planning, which helps families plan for the futures of loved ones with disabilities; the Family Managed Resource Centre, and many other resources for both families and individuals.

Poverty is a far-reaching, complex issue, and a lasting one. Once in the cycle of poverty, it is extremely difficult to overcome and can affect future generations. United Way is committed to ensuring access to immediate support for families and individuals.

The focus of healthy people, strong communities is to engage and mobilize residents to take collective action to improve access to, and increase the availability of resources needed to revitalize and strengthen neighborhoods.

All That Kids Can Be

Children and youth are the future of our communities. To become successful, independent adults, children and youth need a good start in life, access to early literacy and development programs, positive school experiences during the middle years and to graduate from high school.
