Safe Haven Women's Shelter Society

Safe Haven Women's Shelter Society in Taber is dedicated to helping women and children in crisis. The goal is to provide a safe place in an effort to end domestic violence. Safe haven has assisted over 100 women and over 80 children in 2016.

The Summer Day Camp program provides an opportunity for children from low-income families in the community to experience a fun summer activity and develop a sense of belonging among peers. The Day Camp program also gives children the chance to learn about the place they live by providing tours of the local police station and other community services.
