Cameron Howey

Community Development Coordinator

Cameron is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a B.A in Political Science and History, including a minor in Philosophy. Throughout his time at the University of Lethbridge Cameron served as President of the Students’ Union, as a member of the University of Lethbridge Senate, as a member of the Board of Governors, as an Arts and Science student representative, and has collectively served on over twenty-five internal and external boards/committees.

Cameron has five years of experience working and volunteering in the Lethbridge non-for-profit world and is passionate about bettering the community. Although born and raised in Calgary, Cameron has called Lethbridge home for the last six years. Throughout this time Cameron has watched fellow community members’ work hard in a plethora of different ways to implement meaningful change within our community. This has inspired him to do his part and he strongly believes in the United Way's role and ability in bettering the lives of our neighbors, friends, and family.

Cameron is a passionate and driven individual who loves to read, golf, and is fueled by copious amounts of coffee.
